During the month of April the city of Milan turns into ultimate destination for the design lovers, thanks to the a Milano Design Week.
This is the kind of event that envied by the whole world, established throughout the years thanks to the presence of important and internationally renowned brands hosted at Salone Internazionale del Mobile launched 58 years ago at the Fiera di Milano, which through the years led to the now beloved Fuorisalone.
The first is a fair born in the early 60’s to promote the Italian furniture industry, while the second is an event born spontaneously in the early 80’s from companies and privates that work in the field of design. Every year they offer design related events spread in the city of Milan. All the companies and privates that decide to participate to the Fuorisalone will make their show-room available for the events, guaranteeing since almost 40 years the success of the Design Week.
Lately the Fuorisalone theme started to expand, reaching events dedicated not only to the interior design, but also to the design of new technologies, art, fashion, food and much more. Even the non lovers of design look forward to this week to enjoy the many happy hours offered during the fancy events.
The Fuorisalone take place in the whole city of Milan, but the main areas are Brera, Tortona and Città Studi.
