The Milano Digital Week is an initiative promoted by the city of Milan and the Assessorato alla Trasformazione digitale e Servizi civici.
This event is dedicated to the digital innovation, education and culture, that for a week turn the Lombard city into the technological capital of Italy.
After the great success of the last year’s edition, which involved more than 250 locations and over 400 events that took place in the whole city, from the center to the outskirts, the city hall decided to promote a second edition.
This year will take place from March 13th to the 17th, and will have as protagonist the Urban Intelligence, intended as the multitude of technologies and applications that transform the city, in an era where the whole world is connected through the web. With the goal to show the many faces of the digital side of Milan, from the health field to the educational, the mobility, the economy, the art, reaching also the robotic field.
The main location is the BASE Milano, and among the new entries for programs and shared activities there are the Triennale di Milano and the National Museum of Science and Technology, while Università Bocconi, Politecnico, Università Bicocca, IED and NABA will host the meetings and the debates.
